Default Where Dealers Go to Access CallBright Info

Ryan,

I have put in an email to our Sales Rep at Local to inform me of how this process works . . . but here is the unconfirmed answer that I would give based on my 10 years inside the dealership dealing with these sorts of things . . .

Companies like Ebay, Cars.com, and Autotrader (and many more) use these call tracking numbers to justify sales opportunities delivered so dealer can track ROI. Here are the nuances:

- These calls come in un tracked by the dealer and are not handled right due to poor phone training and result in no cars being sold and at the end of the month, the manager paying for the service easily blames it on the service. The service then provides a report to the dealer showing Emails delivered, but also these phone calls. At that point, the rep for the service can say "Well, we sent you the leads, what did you do with them".

ANSWER

Ebay Local will likely not allow these dealers to log in and see the activity because the account is held by Ebay. They will, however, deliver these reports on a monthly basis to an email address on file for accountability.
