Try this:

- Check fluid level for power steering (if good, go to next step, if not
top up)
- start vehicle. with vehicle running, turn wheels from side to side not
quite all the way (stop just before you would hit the end)
- do the turning procedure about 6 or 8 times
- check level of steer fluid again. (if you had to add a significant amount
of fluid after the turning procedure, repeat until the level no longer
drops)
- check for any leaks.
