This whole ACORN thing is ridiculous. We're talking about
a few hundred voter registration forms out of 1.3 million
that ACORN has submitted. And many of those were flagged
by ACORN as possibly fraudulent when they were turned in.

Really, if this were some big conspiracy to steal votes,
they wouldn't be signing up the Dallas Cowboys. This is
a relative few employees of ACORN who forged registration
cards in order to increase their pay since they were being
paid per card.

"What's going on here is a fair amount of partisan
behavior on the part of local election officials,"
said Kettenring of ACORN. Noting that ACORN had
flagged problematic registration cards to local
authorities, he added, "They're politicizing cards
that we identified ourselves and marked as such."

The organization is working with law enforcement
agencies in four states, and in five other states
contacted law enforcement agencies with information
about activities by specific ACORN employees, he
said.

"These are former workers who defrauded us and we
would like them brought to justice," Kettenring
said.
