With the use of a multimeter find a suitably powered wire (back if the
ashtray is popular choice). You can splice into the wiring, or go direct
to the fuse box. Some people would use scotchlocks but much better if
you can cut & solder the wire with some heat shrink. Not always easy in
a modern loom though.
