Re: Last of the Yugos I had the opportunity to purchase a brand new one, one with only a few
hundred miles, for only $400 at a sealed bid auction where no one was
bidding. I passed on it and instead bought a used 1980 Audi 4000.
They reminded me of a Fiat (131 maybe) and probably would not run fine for a
few years without needing much.
I think that Beetles were loved in ALL countries and were in production much
longer than the Yugos. ;-)
