Default 2005 Dodge Caravan trans fluid change intervals

A friend has a 2005 Dodge Caravan SE 3.3 with 120,000 miles and he claims
that factory recommends NEVER changing the transmission fluid.

Does anyone know if that's true?

Thanks!

Merlin's told him that fluid is dirty and should be changed every 30k-35k
miles.
I called dealer service to check and was told same - there's nothing in his
manual regarding trans fluid changes.

How can fluid las that long? Any info on that?

Thanks again!!!

Is there a reason behind that?

That TSB refers to not flushing. Fluid still needs to be replaced. Any
oil will become dirty or break down over time.

My Ram is listed on the TSB, yet the manual clearly gives intervals for
all fluids to be changed. The only way to replace all transmission
fluid is to flush rather than just dropping the pan. I tow considerably
in very hot weather and replace all fluid every 15K miles. Cheap way to
improve longevity.

The only way to remove all the fluid is to flush the system. This Chrysler
says is not needed. On a Schedule "B" maintenance schedule on the Mini van
(at 60k) the trans filter should be replaced ONLY for police, taxi,
limousine type operation, or trailer towing. Always read the owners manual
for questions regarding maintenance.
