flasking headlights and indicators when light switch is off ('98caravan)

I left my windows crack during a rain storm and now my headlights
flash when my '98 dogge grand caravan is started (and the light switch
is off). Along with the headlights, odemeter reading, center console
radio and control buttons also flash. They all stop when I turn the
light switch on.
Is something that will eventually dry out an be normal?
If not, is it the light swutch that needs to be replaced or something
else?
If I need to replace the light switch, how do I get at it?
