The former Red Sox slugger donated the classic car to the
Franciscan Hospital for Children in Boston last February,
months before he was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

All proceeds from the eBay auction will go to the
hospital...

When asked if his charity involvement was to help build a
legacy for him to leave behind, Manny said, "I don't do it
for my legacy. I don't care about that. I'm doing it from
the bottom of my heart, and I'm doing it for people that
really need it."...
