What do you mean the battery looks fine? No matter how hard you stare,
there's no way you'll be able to tell be looking.
Did you put it on a charger or at least check it with a voltmeter? Normal
charge should be high 11 to mid 12 volts. That rattling noise is probably
your solenoid trying to close with insufficient power to counteract the
spring that holds it open.

Any mechanic who is worth the cars they work on knows the simplest solution
is usually the most logical one.

Take it to a mechanic, OR get involved and learn what he or she is doing.
I admire anyone who will come on here and ask dumb questions, but use
that as a stepping stone to learn something.

All too many, nowadays, recognize only the keys, and a few more recognize
the need for fuel.

We will see if sauj takes the rope and swings through the forest like
Tarzan,
or if he hangs by his balls.
