Re: 2002 HYUNDAI ACCENT CHANGING HEADLIGHTS I do these replacements by sight when I see them and don't remember which
cars have which setups, so I'll give you some generic instructions. If
you don't have the particular piece to do one of the steps, move on to the
next step. I guarantee that'll happen at least once, because none of the
cars have the plastic dust cover (step 1) as well as a rubber dust cover
(step 3).
1. If you have a plastic dust cover on the back of the lamp, remove it.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb.
3. If you have a rubber dust cover over the back of the lamp, remove it.
4. Push the spring clip in and move it away from the detent, releasing
the bulb. There may be one or two ends on the clip that are held in
place, and the direction necessary to move varies with car. You'll need
to decipher how the clip attaches. |
