2006 ImprezaAC compressor

The AC compressor on my wife's 2006 Impreza w/~25K miles is pretty noisy
when it cycles on & off during operation, a recent development. Should be
under warranty, but I'm wondering if there are any known issues with the
compressors on these cars. Belt tension is fine.
