My newly acquired '96 Legacy GT has the standard double din head unit
in. Tried a CD in it, all fine until you come to eject - doesn't want to
pop out. Tried a tape in it, again all fine until you come to pressing
the eject button.

One eject breaking I could perhaps understand, but both breaking
together ? and there was no CD or tape in them already to suggest that
they were broken beforehand....

I don't have the handbook - is there a special method to get them to
eject or something other than pressing the eject button ?
