symptoms were shift interlock - will not engage

dealer changes a fuse - worked a week then can't get into gear.

changed shift interlock solenoid - work one time - then couldn't get
into gear without a screwdrive in the override

now they say the abs hcu is faulty and blowing fuses

including break light fuses

part and labor expense

is it possible to isolate the abs (take it off line) - replace other
fuses to get basic functionality of gear shift and break lights
