Re: 2002 Impreza on cold start My 02' Impreza has been good for about 20,000 miles since dealer replaced
the tensioner. Also found using too heavy of oil can cause tensioner noise.
I use only 5W30 Castrol GTX in my 02' since one venture into 10W40 caused
noise after sitting for 2 weeks.
