| | | (OT:) Yeah, there's k00ks on BOTH sides of the aisle... Scroll down to Brian Williams and click on "We've got mail"
Check out the mail about the LED Christams light story (BTW, NBC has been
saying "Christmas", not "Holiday". Good for them!)
Yesterday they did a story about LED Christmas lights, and said they were
in use on the National Christmas tree and the Christmas Tree at
Rockefeller Center.
Woman writes an e-mail saying the story was a thinly veiled advertisement
for GE, since GE owns NBC, and makes LED Christmas lights, and ends the
letter with Liberal (agenda? I can't remember now...) Exposed!
HUH?!?!? They did a story on Christmas lights that save money, electricity
and are 'environmentally friendly'! HOW do you get any kind of Liberal
*ANYTHING* out of that?! (Well, except for the 'environmentally friendly',
of course, but then, they *ARE!*)
Yep, we Conservatives have our share of k00ks, too...it's just a lot
easier to find the Liberal ones, esp since most of them are in Congress... |

Pretty easy to find both here, as well. Even extreme or stupid enough
to necessitate a killfile.
Scott, FH, and FI. Virtual cellmates. ;-) |

I have very few people in my killfile. Matter of fact, I can turn my
killfile off, and I think it has been for a while.
Oh, wait, it is on, since on this machine I can't see that guy that's
complaining about MI5 looking over his shoulder while surfing.
If he's that paraniod he should give up the computer...
And that's a good name for a band: MI5... |

Poor witless, so intolerant but fails to see the pot, kettle, black.
M15 is most likely the most filtered guy on Usenet. Not sure about
other newsreader but with Thunderbird you can filter by just having a
poster show up as already read. Keeps it from getting too confusing on
these longs ones. Of course Witless doesn't really filter, he just says
that. |

I have NEVER used a killfile. Never.
That said, it's only a matter of time before you encounter someone who
just begs to be incarcerated. Some individuals, such as in mine, are
seemingly incapable of independent thought or reason. Parrots merely
spewing the Kool Aid they drink on websites not worth their bandwidth.
Silliness has forced my hand, and the group is far more enjoyable. |

We love you FH, sweetheart, all withstanding, even though you are such a
curmudgeon, and muffin to boot, I would never allow you to my kill-file.
LOL

I'm confused. Fox News covered the LED-based Christmas lights on the White
House tree, and I suppose they talked about 30 Rock too, but I don't recall
that part. LED-based lights are not unique to GE -- lots of companies know
how to make an LED.
My point is, EVERYBODY knows that Fox News seldom, if ever, gives any time
at all to the liberal agenda. Surely, nobody can accuse GWB of having a
liberal thought -- some accuse him of having no thoughts at all.
NBC _might_ be tooting their own horn here (they are owned by General
Electric) but they have not shown the intelligence to do such a thing
before, why would they start now? And, since Fox also ran the story, I doubt
NBC had any self-serving agenda going on. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
