But the problem is that the economy performs about the same, regardless
of which political party is in charge. The rather famous financial
book, Stocks For The Long Run, documents this, and several years ago,
Barron's magazine published a cover story relating the performance of
the economy and the financial markets to the presidents, and actually
the Democrats ones fared better than the Republicans.
