There are two things that make a tire unrepairable, too much wear and a hole
near (or in) the sidewall. If the nail is within an inch of where the tread
rolls around to become the sidewall, the patch won't stick, or if the wear
markers are showing, they won't fix the tire.
You did not describe either of those conditions, I suggest a second opinion
at another tire repair shop. |
