Damn, man, I want him out of office, but I wanted him to be *voted* out
of office. As much as I dislike the man, I hope he fares well.

The symptoms of a stroke include the *sudden onset* of one side of the
face or body drooping, slurred speech, inability to speak clearly, the
tongue pointing to one side when it is stuck out and difficulty moving
an arm or leg.
A stroke is no laughing matter. If treated quickly, most damage from a
stroke can be avoided in many cases. If not treated quickly, a stroke
can kill or, worse, causing severe permanent disability.
A stroke is sometimes called a "brain attack" to emphasize the
seriousness of the matter and that the stroke needs to be treated as an
emergency.
My grandfather, who would be only 111 today, died from a stroke during
the WWII when he was just a little older than me, when they didn't know
how to treat them.

Actually, that's standard procedure, until you can determine why the person
lost consciousness.

| | | Re: (OT:) Kennedy in Mass Gen As do I but I see humor is most everything and he is known to be a heavy
drinker. When I go to a funeral there will be somebody near the coffin that
says, "He looks good."
I don't agree with the Senators big government philosophy but I sure would
not wish him any harm. Good men can disagree about what is best for the
county and still not dislike those that do not agree with their position.
That is why the founders wanted a republic rather than a democracy so that
ALL positions could be considered not just those of the majority. I
believe if we were a democracy we blacks would still not be able to vote or
hold office.
One of the biggest problems we face in the US today is the hatred from the
fringe groups that will attack all others personally for their different
politely beliefs. The kooks on the left are particularly hateful.
Just look how they have told lie after lie for the past seven years to
vilified good men for their differing views, it is disgraceful and anti
American to demean ones own country simply for political advantage

Actually, as you noted before, it has been deemed a 'seizure', although
they have still not said what type. At last report, he was said to be
sitting up talking with the family. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
