Well, let's see.

How about someone who needs MUCH more room than the tC? How about
someone who wants a real back seat that REALLY seats two, and in a pinch
seats three--or seats three kids all the time, very nicely?

Oh--and all that in a car that gets 45-55mpg without trying, depending
on climate and geography.

How's this sound: you can get 80mpg on a motorcycle or scooter. Who
needs a tC for $10,000 more?!?!

My last 3 fillups.
392.2 miles - 11.581 g = 33.8 MPG
412.0 miles - 12.96 g = 31.79
376.4 miles - 11.726 g = 32.09
Mine's mostly highway driving. How the hell did you do that?! Teach me
please! I know its not the tires, I have 35 psi on my tires and the
ride is already very hard. I tried going 55 mph on I-95 on the 55mph
zone and I looked like an idiot =), even a Prius drove faster than me.

Must be shifting into 5th gear asap (~45MPG) and using the cruise control
whenever I can.

Hmmm...

Get to 5TH gear ASAP (~45MPH@2,000 RPM)
Use the cruise control whenever you can.
Highway @ 3,000 RPM (~67 MPH)

That's what I did after the last fill up. Seems to have worked!

Oh, and I keep my tires at 40 PSI, less than the rated PSI, but more than
the door sticker.
