A pretzel almost changed history, and Cheney would have been
president.
If Obama should choke to death on a chicken bone, and Hillary become
president, well,... I don't believe it will have been an accident. It
could have been, but there will always be doubt in my mind. |

Fat chance.
Hillary's chances at the slot are better than mine, but that's not saying
much. I'm pretty sure I'm not even being vetted, but I could be wrong. Odds
of me being wrong, and Hillary's chances at #2 are about the same, I'd
guess. |

As I have said all along, it will be Bill Richardson.

Maybe, but he's not a spark plug.
Richardson would play well with those from Mexico, illegal and legal.

I heard Bill being tossed around a few weeks ago, but I've not heard anybody
talking about him lately. |

He would play reasonably well with white folks too -- sorry for tossing in
the race card.
I have to wonder is he is liberal in the same mold as Obama though. The
problem (if this is true) is that Obama needs middle-right people that are
sitting on the fence to jump over to his side, and if the VP pick is not
conservative enough relative to Obama himself, then the center-rights might
go to McCain if he selects a more right guy than Richardson. |

It's who they're not talking about.

You might very well be right, at least your logic is sound.

I'd like to see Joe Biden of Delaware given a look. Yeah, he's a little
prolix, but he knows the way the bread is buttered in DC and where all the
clean restrooms are, and the best restaurants. I would have voted for him
for pres. if he'd been on the ticket by then. I think he's a straight
shooter who calls 'em as he sees 'em. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
