What happened was that he had in his mind a way to work into the speech
something about being a prisoner, and it popped out accidentally. He's
always trying to work in the POW angle into every speech.

I am getting worried about McCain. I watched a little of the Wisconsin rally
today. At one point when he was talking about aiding the middle class he
said "oppress" then corrected himself and said "impress." I grabbed the DVR
remote and backed it up to make sure I heard right.

The other senior moment that left me shaking my head is when he actually
criticized Obama for voting for the bailout. You know, the one he
"suspended" his campaign and "raced" back to Washington for.
