"And be not conformed to this world . . ." Romans 12:2

The words here literally mean, don't let the world squeeze you into its
mold, i.e. make you like them. Many people allow this to happen because in
their cosmology, there is no world but this one, no god but man, no life
after this one. Unfortunately, many Christians are getting squeezed in the
world's mold, too. and some are getting squeezed into a 'Christian
Pharasee' sort of mold where they have rules and regulations, but they have
no life.

Guys, you'll never ever see a U-haul behind a hearse. If the stock market
dropping is the most important thing in your life right now, STOP. Take a
deep breath. It's only money. You could have it worse, like having to pay
$1600 or more a month for medicine to keep you alive, then wait for the 80%
check to show up, despite the fact your job pays "good money"

Good points, Charles. Gaining and keeping money is certainly not
going to help anyone in the long run, however living profligately and
failing to honor your financial commitments is a sign of a life out of
control spiritually. Those of us with our health have a lot to be
thankful for, especially in a world of medical costs driven through
the roof by soulless lawyers.
