Hmmm.....Radio Teletype!!

I used to engage in ham radio teletype back in the days of VIC-20 and
C-64. Although I don't think either of them had GPS.

My adopted 'ham mother' K5WSS, had a Type 28 and a Type 15. And I think she
was on Navy Mars, too.

The Model 15 was what you heard at the end of CBS news with Walter
Cronkite. Clackety, clack, clackety...60 WPM.

Those machines were a work of art. just about all the mechanical parts
were machined.

My secretary in industry could type 100 wpm....accurately.

I could always tell when she was pissed, caused she would go higher
than that...LOL

Hell she would kill a Model 15.
