Actually i've had the same problem. Try moving steering wheel while
turning the key. Hope it helps.

i've had this too, in both a toyota & a chrysler. Spray
wd-40 in there, and when it gets bad enough, you may need
a locksmith to remove stuck pins permanently. I had to do
that with the Chrysler after getting stuck for 6 & 4 hrs.
two times in 2 months in extremely frigid weather. The
2nd time it took the locksmith. I'd been told to spray
graphite in before, & the locksmith told me that was a
very bad idea -- use wd-40 or something similar.
