My Freind Gave me a 1986 Toyota Trecel 4cylinder Carberated 1.5 lt and
he started it last in Dec and not the stater does not do anything.
the Idiot lights dim when you turn the key to the start postion but
the stater does nothing! The fuel pumps run too! I did have to change
a fuse in the car for the cabin but i dont thing that could be a
issiue?

P.S I NEED TO GET IT TO START ARE THERE ANY OTHER WAYS TO START A
AUTOMATIC WITH OUT PULLING ON THE CRANKSHAFT WITH A WRENCH!

Have you tried jumping it with another car? My first guess is the battery
is weak. Even if you charge it, it may not hold enough current to crank
the car.

When was the last time it was running? If the timing belt broke, it may
have slammed the valves into the pistons and locked the engine.

A little more info would be appreciated!

The first thing I would do is charge the battery.

The Battery was out of my Truck battery starts my truck just fine. I
thinking that the Syliniod is bad I dont know

If the idiot lights dim but there is no clicking, check the starter relay,
solenoid, starter, and associated wiring.

You cannot start an automatic by pulling on the crankshaft with a wrench,
and the likelihood that you will be seriously injured is probably close to
100% if you try it.

Well, it will take a lot of strength to turn the engine over fast
enough, especially if the engine were sitting for a long while.

And, you have to get the wrench and arms out of there as soon the engine
starts, or you will carrying your arm to the hospital in a baggie on ice
after you put that tourniquet on (or save time, and try this in the
hospital's ER parking lot).
