It's been a few months since Verizon dropped access to most of usenet to
their customers by way of some lame BS excuse about child porn but I've
finally gotten off my butt and found an alternative. Glad to see the
group is still alive and kicking, as are my Volvos.

Which server did you find that meets your needs I switched to verizon &
have been using Motzarella.org so far so good

I'm using albasani.net, I don't know how it compares to Motzarella.org,
I just did a search and it came up, tried it and it works, so far so good.

I actually wanted to suggest this free newsserver to you. I have been using it
for a couple of years since I am changing my broadband provider every now and
then and some of them do not have groups I am interested in. When I could not
find certain groups in a minor language I contacted the operator and they
provided the groups thereafter. Thumbs up for albasani - I do not know how they
finance their activity, they are not asking for donations on their website.

There are other free newsservers and online newsgroup-posting facilities, so you
are never out of the game if your provider doesn´t fulfill your newsserver
expectations.
