your advice about the bulb failure sensor was right on. After all the other
things I did, I found the big red can and replace it with one from the junk
yard, thanks again. gary hl

Cool

Glad my hours of trying to track down a similar problem with a friend's
car a few years back saved someone else some time. Save the old sensor
if you haven't chucked it already, they're easy to repair but pricey new.
