Default 2006 S80 purchase

We haven't owned a Volvo since our 1980 DL which we sold 1985. This past
Saturday we took delivery of a new S80 (Black with Taupe interior)... I'm
loving this car!

Any 2006 S80 owners experience anything I should be aware of?

Oh yeah, do the Service Depts really use synthetic oil for oil changes? I
want to know because I planned on running Amsoil in it anyway beginning with
the first oil change.

Thanks

Default Re: 2006 S80 purchase

The dealer charged outrageous prices for oil changes so I go to a local
garage. I'm not sure that synthetic is even worth the extra dollars.
Anyway, I also bought a 2006 S60 and love the car to death. Some of
the reviews are mixed but with the current discounts on these cars you
can't go wrong. I've experienced only pleasure so far
