Re: 1975 Volvo 164e wheel question [salvage] The tranny, with overdrive, is re-usable on the Volvo 1800, which has a
larger resale market than the 164. Much of the d-jet fuel system (fuel
pump, injectors, throttle switch, cold start relay, pressure regulator) are
also re-usable on the 1800e (1970 and 1971). Contact your local chapter of
VCOA and talk to the vintage volvo enthusiasts for more swap parts wisdom.
The front grill, radio, and badging might be worth scavenging for resale on
ebay.
Anything stamped "Lucas" is suspect (;-)
