I need to replace the ignition switch on a 2000 Jimmy with a tilt
wheel but I can't figure out how to remobe the steering wheel to gain
access to the switch. Can anyone help me?

The GM wheels I've taken off, you have to remove a couple bolts from behind
to get the horn pad off. In case of air bag, 10 mm, otherwise can't remember
the size, but it's english.

Anyhow, with the horn pad off, you remove a large nut which I think is
13/16. And then use a steering wheel puller. To get at the ignition switch,
you have to pull several more parts, after that. My experience is from the
1980s, and may not be up to date.
