Default Automobile dry gas substitute

One Sunday, I'm driving to church. My truck is hesitating and lurching. it's
winter, and I'm thinking water in the gasoline. I stop at Kmart. They are
sold out of drygas, aparently everyone else had water in the gas that day,
also. On the way out, I walked through the paint department. Sure enough,
quart of denatured alcohol for 3.99 or some price. I bought it. Pour in
about 12 ounces through a funnel, and it got me to church.

It's a bit pricey. But, it gets you down the road when you get a bit of
water.

Denatured (means its been rendered undrinkable)

Works fine for water in the gas.

Most fuel sold in the US has alcohol in it. No need for Heat or Drygas.

What do you think drygas is? High priced alcohol.
Your majick Coleman and lighter fluid is just naphtha with a high
price. And a name brand fanatic too......sheesh.

>And a religious fanatic too......sheesh.

Exactly how does someone going to church make them a religious
fanatic?

Stirred not shaken! Get a grip on reality, man! You won't ever be an English
secret agent at this rate. Can't be bruising the vermouth.

Where in Rochester? I'm not far from the Flour City.

P.S. Put the drygas in first, and then pump the gas. The flow of gas does
the mixing for you.

Dry gas is methyl alcohol. When I was a poor college student (long
out of college, but still
poor!) father picked up couple cases real cheap and gave them to me to
use during winter
(went to school in Rochester NY). Would buy half tank of gas then
dump in 6 bottles of dry
gas. Would then push bumper up and down to rock car. Instant
gasahol! Get me through
winter and saved few bucks on gas!
