hey, I do turn off the daytime running lights permanently on my 2000
Chevy S10? I hate those useless DRLs.

I like them. I find it slighty easier to see people with the DRL.

Pull the DRL relay.
BUT take a look at your insurance coverage first. Many companies list
the items your vehicle came with that are considered safety items.
Things like the air bags, ABS, DRLs, traction control are all in that
group. If you have an accident and they find out that the DRLs were
deliberately disabled and even suspect that they made have helped in
your accident, They can refuse to pay AND the opposing insurance company
or lawyer will take a BIG chunk out of your wallet.

Remove the fuse box lid. Flip it over and look at the diagram. It will
tell you which one is the DRL relay.
