Evaluating a Used Vehicle

If you had an hour or so to go over a used vehicle what would would you
check before deciding whether or not to buy it?

I'd take it out for an hour long test drive by myself and thoroughly check
it out. A thorough round of all kinds of driving and looking under the
vehicle and hood. Especially the 4x4 subsystem.

In selling the last three cars/trucks I had (Kia Sedona, Nissan Maxima, GMC
Jimmy) I insisted the prospective buyer take it out for at least an hour.
