Default ? about battery changing and rough idle

I changed the battery in my 2003 silverado and now it stalls when I come to
a stop. Can just changing the battery effect the idle on this truck? If so
how does one correct this problem.
Thanks

It probably needs to relearn it's parameters. Take it for a drive with
varied driving, WOT, cruise, etc and it should acquire acceptable
parameters.

Thanks for the quick response but I have driven the truck at least 50 miles
since the battery change and still have the problem. Do you think if I
disconnect the battery and start over it would help?
Thanks again for any and all help

I had this happend on my 2000 Tahoe, when I swapped the battery, disconnect
the Positive cable for a moment, 5 sec. and re-attach and see what happens
I hooked it up the first time by putting the positive side first then the
ground, like I have always done, and this caused the problem, dont know why,
but it does, I asked my dad about this when it happend, and he said to
disconnect and re-connect the positive and see what happens, give it a shot
