Default anyone here with remote start?

I have a 2000 Blazer that I had remote start put on 2 years ago.
Occasionally over the past year the Security lite in the dash comes on, then
goes away. Finally took it into the Chevy dealer and he said they need to
put a new ignition switch in, and they won't reconnect the remote start
because they can't warranty the new ignition switch with the remote start on
it. 1) Has anyone heard of the remote start making an ignition switch go
back and causing the security lite to go on? 2) And most importantly, is
there another way for the remote start to be connected, besides connecting
to the ignition switch?

How do you like your HHR? There is a 2007 at our GM Cert. used dealer with
33,000 miles on it for only $10,980.

Nice and different looking car, but how is the 4cyl engines power and
pick-up? How comfortable are the front seats? Do you live where there is
snow? How does it handle? Any dislikes?

Hey, Chris...

I'm just down the road from you here in Tomahawk. I was over in
Rhinelander the other day and drove past the GM dealership you cited
in your previous post. I could NOT believe all the iron they have
sitting there idle (well, I guess I *can* believe it given the current
economy, but it is really something to see). WOW!

Not really. It's a plug in module that connects to the door lock remote
module and to the system buss.

Yep, and if you go on their site, you will not believe the used V8 big truck
inventory and the low prices the dealership has on them. I know gas prices
will go up again eventually, up and down, up and down... but I wonder if
anyone now who traded in their V8 is now wishing they would have waited a
little while... and I wonder what they traded into.
