Default 1999 Yukon - Mis-firing, running rough, etc.

Hi,

This is my first post on this site, I hope someone can help me solve a problem I am having a problem with a Yukon.

When I first got the vehicle the CHECK ENGINE light was on, it raced at an idle, and ran rough. After reading the codes, I replaced the intake air sensor. The CHECK ENGINE light went off. The codes also stated that it was idling fast so I changed the idle control, it helped a little, but it still races and I still get the fast idling reading. I am also getting a MISFIRE on Cyl 1 reading.

I gave the vehicle a complete tune up, and also did a compression test. All cylinders read about the same (+-195 lbs.). At this point folks are talking about replacing the spyder injector.

If this will solve the problem I will do it. I just don't want to replace parts that are unnecessary.

ANy help is appreciated.
