Default Advertising with Google Adwords, Bing Ads and Facebook Ads for beginners.

    Hey all.

If you guys don't already know, I'm a software entrepreneur.

But I also help other businesses with their marketing.
PPC Advertising, Email Sequences, and website optimization.

I wanted to share an expertise of mine which you guys could find useful.

    First off?

Anyone ever used Google adwords to advertise your dealership?

    If not.

    It's okay.

Many don't know how to fully implement the advertising networks.

Google Adwords is an advertising source which allows you to create an ad and place it on the far top of google or far right of google when you search a term.

Your account gets charged a certain amount for every click that goes to your website. ( each click can range in costs from .05 - 10$ per click)
But dont worry about the 10$.

That's only for the very highly searched terms and terms that business owners are often bidding more on.

    Here's a difference:

Term: "used cars" might cost you $5 per click because, A - it's a high volume term and B- Many are bidding to get the #1 spot in google when searched.

Term: "Used Toyotas in San Francisco, California" might only cost you .50$ per click or less. because A- it's a fairly low volume term and B- the whole USA is not bidding on that term, most likely, only local businesses are.

You can simply have a limited budget ever month of no more than 300 and get a good amount of "targeted" traffic to view your website.

In this industry, it's wise to advertise to your local area and possibly a few dozen miles outside your area.

This will bring in more targeted traffic towards your website that are more likely to call you and schedule an appointment.

NOTE: You must also optimize your dealership website well enough to where the person knows clearly what they see, and what to do if they are interested.

Don't hide your contact information and don't give complex explanations of what they are looking at.

Bing Advertising network is much the same.
Except, they are a bit easier to work with and have less policies that you have to abide by.
(I personally like their customer service reps. Nice people, explain fully, and are native english speakers. )

Now, Facebook advertising is MUCH different.

You advertise directly to a certain demographic of people.

Instead bidding for certain terms like "used cars" "cheap cars" etc..

You target specific group of people by their age, gender, ethnicity, place they work, religion, things they like, place they live etc...

If you have a good idea of who exactly visits your dealership, you can target them on facebook.

Don't forget to optimized your website well for maximum conversion.

Although you do bid on cost per click, just not the terms themselves.

You can easily go way below what they recommend you start out with and still get good response rates.

    ONE MORE THING.

You're CTR (Click through rate) will probably suck!

That's where constantly optimizing the ads comes into play.

No one will automatically be getting 5%+ of impressions to click to your ad.
(Or at least, not very many can do it at first.)

    Optimize, Optimize, Optimize.

If you guys have any questions, comment below and I'll answer.

    Be Well.
