Post Have your content included in my bi-weekly newsletter

I intend to start producing a bi-weekly newsletter for all of my automotive contacts and subscribers to my blog. Launch date for the first one is scheduled on Tuesday May 1 and then every other Tuesday after that. This is a big commitment because in order to make it effective I need to provide good content, timely and useful topics, and then deliver it consistently.

I was thinking that it might make sense to join forces with others out there that run blogs and want to expand their readership. We could form an automotive blog network and produce at least one, if not several different newsletters. Would any of you be interested in that? I have a few concrete ideas in mind if you want to partner up in any way so stop by my blog and let me know if you are interested and we can go from there.

Jeff - Thanks for your interest. The focus of the newsletter will be on how blogging and the automotive industry connect. Blogs are associated with CRM and once we establish methods for measuring the ROI blogs can bring dealers then I think they will become an integral part of the dealer solutions that are provided. Content for the newsletter should be written with this angle in mind.

Default Content for newsletter

Hello Ryan, If you are interested I'd like to offer my services of "free design" for any dealer who would want to order cards from a new site I've started www.autocardcentral.com

I would also place a link to your forum at my site.

Let me know what you think.
Thank You,
John Boroden

Hello John. Thanks for your interest. I checked out your site and I see you do business cards and other design services for dealers. Are you offering for us to display an ad in the newsletter to solicit your services? I would consider displaying such an ad for you in exchange for distribution.

The newsletter is presently sponsored by five companies in the industry that each run a blog. Each issue links out to one blog entry on each sponsor's blog. In addition, each sponsor has pooled its email database to add to the distribution of the newsletter. How large is your email database of dealers and vendors in the industry?

If that is of interest to you let me know and I will explain how the pooling of email databases works because privacy is important and we want to respect that. We are preparing to launch our second distribution of the newsletter on 5/22 so we would have to fit you in on the next run in 3 weeks. You can check out the first build here - the sphere

Thanks.

Hi Matthew. Have you seen the latest issue by chance? It is coming along nicely I think

Internet search marketing Web 2.0, Kijiji, eBay, Google, and other topics as they pertain to the automotive industry and auto dealer blog marketing

The reader audience of our newsletter is primarily auto dealers and specifically personnel doing Internet sales and marketing. If you can spin your info or product towards that audience it might be a good fit. Let me know. You can contact me directly by going to AutoConversion.net - Contact.
