Looks like Jean Girard Juan-Pablo Montoya won't be the only F1 veteran to jump ship from McLaren to NASCAR as Steve Hallam has announced his plans to make the same move. (Come on, you don't know who Steve Hallam is? Okay, we'll tell you.) Hallam is one of the most respected race engineers in Formula One, having worked with world champions like Nigel Mansell, Ayrton Senna and Mika Hakkinen over the course of his decades-long career. He's been with McLaren since 1990, where he will finish out the end of the season as director of race operations. We don't know yet what job Hallam will be taking up at NASCAR, but while the drivers have had to start in the lower rungs, Hallam is heading straight for the Sprint Cup... you can bet it'll be a senior position.[Source: Autosport, Image: Ben Radford/Getty]
