For the past few years, the Top Gear Power Lap has been one of the standards by which we judge the world's fastest supercars. The Stig has piloted everything from the Ascari A10 to the Pagani Zonda around the course, with the Gumpert Apollo S recently taking the top spot with a time of 1:17.1. However, there was always a car absent from the list - the almighty Bugatti Veyron. With four-digit horsepower on tap, the Veyron has the potential to be one of, if not the, fastest car to ever go 'round the Top Gear test track. Well, Top Gear finally got their hands on one and put the Stig behind the wheel to see what it could do. Did it top the Gumpert Apollo? Follow the jump to watch the video and find out.
