Hello to all,

I am looking to start a small car lot. I am aware of all the state requirements to get it going, however I have one question that I cant seemed to get answered.

Is a vehicle purchased at the dealer auction the same as if I bought it from a private seller when it comes to taxes? Do I just have to go to the DMV and pay sales tax and to get the title transferred over to my dealership?

Well, you should contact your car dealer or the private owner, before the deal, there should have been this deal on who would handle on paying the tax, normally, it is handled by the car dealer or the previous owner.
