Most Hybrid cars average between 33 and 60 miles per gallon during city driving and between 27 and 68 miles per gallon in highway driving. These figures represent some of the best EPA figures known to the car industry. The hybrid Prius wins the sheer mileage numbers, but you pay what's called a hybrid premium to own one. In fact, all hybrids will cost you several thousand dollars more than similar non-hybrid cars.

well, would you say that the price of a hybrid is worth it? how much is its difference to a regular ride anyways? how many miles of driving would you say you would have to drive to totally cover the expense of purchasing and maintaining it.
