Default A Different Viewpoint On Seo Maximizing

One thing to keep in mind with SEO efforts is that every web site provider worth their salt is trying to do the same thing...raise their, or their clients, web sites higher in the search engine results. It is a worthy effort and one that needs to be done. However, with sooooo many talented, qualified individuals doing this, it is difficult to beat the 1,000,000's of sites to the TOP of the search engine results.

My take on this is as follows... for most car dealerships and finance companies, "search is local". By that I mean, your customer is only going to drive so far to buy a vehicle. So use your advertising and web merchandising efforts to drive YOUR customers in your market to your site. Raise your awareness high enough in your customers mind so they type in some version of your URL (website name) or company name directly into the search engine. This will definitely raise your ranking in the search engine results and get you more clicks to your web site. The main reason is...it's your customer, and she is looking for you!

This is what we do in addition to our SEO efforts.It works very well, and is cost effective. Although we specialize in BHPH web merchandising and web sites, it works for all automotive and finance web sites.

Default SEO - 3 simple and easy tips.

Everybody serious about SEO knows that it takes time and dedication.
I would not advise any dealers to spend their time to do their own SEO, but here are some easy tips to improve your SEO ranking.

Make your website SEO friendly.
Use a title, description and meta tags on all your website pages. Make sure you include a sitemap.

Make sure you have relevant content on your website. Use keywords on your website to emphasis what your website is all about and use bold font to emphasis important keywords.

Link your website. Go to forums, social networks, video sites (youtube), blogs, other dealer websites, other complementary products and speak about your company, products and don't forget to include a link to your website.

SEO and SEM are becoming more complex every day as SEO experts and search engines are outsmarting each other. Also, as SEO and SEM are both time intensive, you might want to outsource them so you can concentrate on managing your dealership, i.e. sell more cars.
