Default Making More Money with Less Stress - Real Dealership Success

Today’s uncertain economy is causing fear and uncertainty in the automotive industry. The mainstays of the USA auto industry are struggling. Dealers are closing each day. Today’s environment demands the successful dealer to look at things a little differently… to do things a little differently… to become a renegade. For more ways you can have a highly successful dealership, with more money in your pocket, while cutting your stress go to www.realdealersuccess.com.

A renegade does not look like their competition. Imagine if every hamburger joint, McDonalds, Wendy’s, Burger King, etc. all had exactly the same type of hamburger. We would view them as boring and it really wouldn’t matter which one to go to since they were all the same. That is a big problem in today’s dealerships – the product and the dealership’s all look the same to the consumer. What can you do to make yourself stand a part from everyone else?

A renegade does not follow traditional auto industry approaches. At one time a customer could get a Model T in any color as long as it was black. Remember that? It was someone that took a stand and a chance to stand up to the “normal” practices and put color into our cars. Now, this isn’t to say there is no wisdom in traditional approaches, but rather to say the renegade does not just accept traditional approaches without questioning and determining for themselves if the traditional approach is best.

A renegade does not blame other people or circumstances for poor results. A renegade looks at the cards they have been dealt and deals with them creatively and with passion. Every time something changes at the factory level or at the market level, someone is going to figure out a way to maximize their success dealing with the change. Someone is going to think like a renegade and determine that the change is going to benefit them instead of damaging them.

A renegade does not make decisions on other peoples opinions. It is wise to seek counsel from others. No person is an island, but there is a huge difference between you making decisions based upon opinions of others and seeking counsel. Opinions are worth what you pay for them…..zero! Counsel can be worth millions. A renegade understands the difference and has a system of making decisions based upon real world methods that directly impacts their business and not just someone’s opinions.

A renegade does not let fear paralyze them from making decisions. All of us at times are afraid to make decisions. Our decisions can impact many people and seriously impact the financial position of our families. That is a big responsibility, but with responsibility comes reward. A renegade takes this fear and puts it into a box so while others are becoming stagnant and standing still, the renegade is moving forward.
