    WEB 28%
    BILLBOARD 26%
    TV 18%
    RADIO 11%



    Forget about those print ad giveaways. Direct mail allows you bigger grosses on your vehicles because your vehicles DON’T START ON SALE!
    AND REMEMBER…
    Just because there IS a sale doesn’t mean it’s ON sale.

    With over 75% of new a car buyers (Jd Power see link below) using the web for vehicle research before the sale...your numbers seem a little slanted.
    Our research (customer surveys) show over 85% web research first on used car purchases.

    Default The Facts with any Marketing

    The facts come from a marketing stand point. I am talking about what customers respond to, not how they respond, or do their due diligence. You are correct that 75% + do their research online for any purchase of car. When it comes to your marketing, direct mail is what a customer will respond to a majority of the time. We have found a new product that is getting a 75-80% appt ratio. I think that you should email me and get some more information. Thank you for your reply.

    I still don't understand your numbers. The normal direct mail response rate is 1-2% tops.
    Are these numbers from your mortgage customers or auto dealers?

    Let me explain it very clearly for you so that there is now misunderstanding. That way you do not feel the need to try and ruin someone elses reputation in an open forum to make yourself look better.

    You are again correct that response rate from direct mail is very low. National average response rate is only 1/2%. Our mail responds much higher, but that is beside the point. After you get your total response from all your marketing and advertising, including audio, visual and print media. When you get all that done and the calculate the total response. 50% will be from your direct mail. It shows the highest response rate out of any form of marketing in this industry. That is for my auto customers, not my mortgage customers. My mortgage customers would get about 75% of their response from direct mail. I hope that this makes everything perfectly clear for you.     Sorry, but I have and had no intention of ruining anyones reputation.
    I just did not, and do not understand the numbers. I make every effort to make my posts clear to those who might find them valuable and.. to make them as accurate as possible.

    When I question something it is to make sure that I am not missing something that would make sense for me, or for my business and clients.
    It's really that simple. didn't mean to offend.
