Default Noise in Door

If anyone ever visits this forum anymore can you answer a question for me. I have a 2003 Element ex. Anytime I drive over a pothole or any other dip in the road I hear a clunk from where the driver side doors meet. I've taken it to the dealer several times but since the roads where I take it to are much better than my roads at home I can never re-create the noise for them. Anyone know what could be causing this?

Default Noise in Door

In the front of the door where the hinge is, you will find a roller and springy thing (called a detent) this is the thing that will hold your door open all the way, and halfway (usually) and keep things like the wind from blowing it shut so easily. Take a can of litium grease and spray the roller and the spring thing and work the door back and forth until the noise stops

NORDIC roll doors are efficient to use to shut off disturbing noise. The sturdy door panel reduces noise with up to 25dB at 2000Hz. As the doors are fast and smooth to operate, they will be used frequently and not left open, which often is the case with more old-fashion types of doors.
