This error code indicates a mismatch of the VIN of the vehicle and that stored in the ECU I put in the car to fix the P2716 problem.
How can I get around this problem? The car runs fine now, as the shift is smooth.
The Check Engine Light will not go off as everytime the car is started, the "error" or mismatch is triggered - anew.
