Independent Used Automotive Dealership Taxation?
hello everyone I have a question regarding the taxation of an independently owned used car dealership, hopefully someone with the knowledge here could give me a bit of insight on. So my general question is how do taxs work with used car dealers or car dealers in general?
Are taxes paid on the dealers annual profits or by each transaction; presumably they wouldn't pay the traditional tax that consumers pay being the state/province tax. Me being in the province Ontario in Canada makes it HST or 13% of the vehicles blackbook value. Curious to here back from you guys, thanks.
