When i first recieved my car about a month ago i got about 260 miles to the tank. Recently my car has been acting weird and i got a tuneup (new plugs, plug wires, air filter, fuel filter, cap,) A few days before i got this tuneup i noticed my fuel gauge dropped by half a tank in a matter of 30 miles! Even 2 days after my tuneup i am still getting the same bad mileage...Any suggestions? Bad gas or broken gauge maybe? Any input would be appreciated

Is that car is new or used one? if you bought used one then you can expect that things to happen.
Mileage is just a way of measuring how far the car has been driver. It tells you nothing about how it was driven or maintained.I have seen low mileage cars that were crap and high mileage cars that looked and operated like it was new
To get the best mileage from your car consider few points
1. Always follow an authorized service center for maintenance service
2. Avoid AC
3.Make sure that your tires are properly inflated
4.Always use a good engine oil
5. Avoid accelerating on steep road
6. Drive in right gear
these are the few basics that one should follow while driving it is god for your car as well as for your self.
Please send your car for servicing and maintain your car properly.
I'd say, if you're on the original engines, you hold some kind of records!
Myself, I had a 1983 Chevrolet Cavalier that I ran 250,000 miles on the original engine (which had never been opened), original 4-speed transmission (which had never been opened), and original clutch disc and pressure plate.
as every Car require personal care like time to time services, safety driving method & using original & genuine part every time
