    Default Inexpensive ways to keep your car safer

    Another thing you can do is install an electric fuel pump cut off switch, I used a barrel key switch for mine and put it inside the center console armrest so you can't easily see it and with all of the other switches in my car they would not have a clue as to what was going to what. VIN etching is definately a good idea, but if they just want to joyride the car or vandalize or if they are not experienced thieves they may not notice or care, that is why I add more security. The barrel key switch I used was onl $8.00 at Pep Boys a few years back, but you can find similar switches on Ebay all day long. Just a suggestion.
